The Parker Ridge development project located near your property/home/business (Food Lion/ballfields/Villages of Rolesville) is beginning the blasting phase. Seismographs will be used in order to measure ground vibration and airblast levels. The schedule for each week’s blasting is below.
• Monday – Friday
• Blasting – between 10:00am & 12:00pm
• Blasting – between 1:00pm & 3:00pm
• Times might be adjusted due to inclement weather.
• A siren or air-horn will be sounded before each blast.
• No blasting will be conducted on weekends or State/Federal holidays.
The civil engineering contractors for the Parker Ridge residential subdivision project will commence with ground disturbance including pyrotechnics (ie blasting) beginning May 6th, 2024. Parker Ridge is located on both sides of Redford Place Drive, east of S. Main Street, generally behind the Food Lion shopping plaza and Rolesville Elementary School and west of the Village at Rolesville and Cedar Lakes neighborhoods.
