(Rolesville, North Carolina, April 10, 2024) - The Town of Rolesville is pleased to announce that a federal lawsuit filed against the Town, alleging constructive termination and a violation of the civil rights of the Town’s former police chief, has been dismissed. Following thorough legal proceedings and careful examination of the facts, Judge James C. Dever, III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina has ruled in favor of the Town, reinforcing the Town’s commitment to fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
The allegations brought against the Town of Rolesville were taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.
