North Carolina Department of Transportation will be installing new ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) ramps on the corners of Weathers St. and Big Willow Way. that intersect on Young Street. This installation will start Monday, July 24, 2023, it is projected to take one to two weeks. Drivers, please be aware of the work zone area during the construction of the ADA ramp installations. ADA Ramps are additional means of transportation that provide safe access to users with wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and others that may need another option for accessibility.
