Our volunteer coaches are the heart of our program. If you are interested in volunteering as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for the upcoming season, we’d love to have you join our coaching team! Please complete the steps below.

1. Coaching Interest Form
- All coaches (Head & Assistant) must complete the pre-season coaching form each season.

- To ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants, the Town of Rolesville requires a background check every 12 months for all volunteer coaches.
- If this is your first time coaching or it has been one year since your last background check, please complete the screening below:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Mondays & Wednesdays, plus Fridays at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM
- 5U and 8U - Tuesdays & Thursdays, plus Fridays at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. (10U and 12U can be 8:00 PM if needed.)
- 6U, 10U, and 12U
Frequency:
- Teams practice once a week.
- Expect 1 to 2 games per week under normal circumstances.
- In the event of multiple rainouts, you may have 2 games in one day or 3 games in a week.
- Extra practices may be scheduled on Saturdays if needed.
Note: Fridays and Saturdays may also be used for makeup games. Times and days are subject to change due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

- 8U, 10U & 12U: Rolesville Middle School
Required Equipment
- Shin Guards & Soccer Cleats
- Mandatory for safety; no child may step onto the field without them.
- Soccer Balls
- 5U & 6U use Size 3
- 8U, 10U & 12U use Size 4
- Bring your own ball to evaluations.
- Uniforms & Practice Gear
- Jerseys and socks are provided by the town for games.
- Balls and cones are provided to coaches for practices.
- Once teams are formed, you will receive an email from Team Sideline with your team’s schedule.
- If you already have a Team Sideline account, just log in to view your details.
- If you do not receive an email, download the Team Sideline app and use the same email address you used during registration.
