The Communications Department plays a vital role in ensuring that Rolesville residents stay informed and engaged with their local government. The department provides clear, timely, and accessible information about Town programs, services, community events, and key decisions made by Town leadership.

In addition to managing the Town’s website and social media channels, the department produces press releases, news updates, and original content that highlight important initiatives and community stories. It also develops marketing materials, digital newsletters, email communications, and other public‑facing resources that promote transparency and support community outreach.

Serving as the primary point of contact for local media, the Communications Department acts as the Town’s spokesperson, helping ensure accurate and consistent messaging across all platforms.
