Program Calendar

Bunco

Bunco is a simple, social dice game that’s played in groups, usually at tables of four.

Players take turns rolling three dice, trying to match the number for the current round (for example, rolling 3s in Round 3). You earn points for each matching die, and rolling three of the same number can earn bonus points, with a “Bunco” (three of the round number) being the highest score.

The game is fast-paced, with players rotating tables and partners throughout multiple rounds, making it easy to meet new people and keep the energy lively.

Crokinole

Crokinole is a fast-paced tabletop game played on a round wooden board, typically with two or four players.

Using their fingers, players take turns flicking small discs toward the center of the board, aiming to land in higher-scoring areas while knocking opponents’ discs out of position. The highest-value shot is landing a disc in the center hole, which scores maximum points. If your opponent has discs on the board, you must hit one of them with your shot, adding a layer of strategy and precision.

Mahjong

Mahjong is a traditional tile-based game, often played with four players, that combines elements of strategy, skill, and chance.

Players draw and discard tiles to build a complete hand, typically made up of sets like matching tiles (pungs), sequences (chows), and a pair. The goal is to be the first to complete a winning hand, similar to rummy-style games. Each round requires players to pay attention to their own tiles while also watching what others discard, adding a layer of strategy.

Senior Assistance Programs

The Senior Network

The Senior Network finds and fulfills the needs of senior citizens of all backgrounds and walks of life. Many seniors, even those with family nearby, are unable to find assistance with various tasks. More times than not, they are left unable to enjoy various aspects of their lives, due to a lack of support from their local community. The Senior Network is ready to step in and help fulfill the need. Even if that need is simply senior community or a sense of fellowship, we are waiting with arms wide open.
