At the September 2, 2025, Board of Commissioners meeting, Commissioners decided to work with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County on the town's first affordable housing project.
The future project will be built on 6.48 acres of Town-owned land located at 4950 Burlington Mills Road.
This is Habitat for Humanity's first project in Rolesville. The organization has finished projects in every other Wake County municipality to date.
The Town and Habitat will work together over the next few months on a development agreement for the property, as well as determine the site layout and number of homes.
