New Interactive Greenway Map Available

The Town of Rolesville has launched an exciting new tool for outdoor enthusiasts and community members: an interactive Greenway Inventory Map that showcases all 14 miles of the town’s growing greenway and sidepath system.

This user-friendly digital map gives residents and visitors an at-a-glance view of Rolesville's scenic trails. It includes detailed information about trail surfaces, asphalt, concrete, and gravel, and highlights the location of bridges throughout the network.

What You’ll Find on the Map:
  • Surface Types Clearly Marked: Each section of the trail is color-coded or labeled to indicate if it’s asphalt, concrete, or gravel, helping users plan based on mobility needs or equipment like strollers and bikes.
  • Bridges Identified: Bridges are marked to inform users of crossings and transitions, aiding in route planning and safety awareness.
  • Interactive Navigation: Zoom in and explore trail connections, nearby parks, and surrounding landmarks.

As part of long-term planning, the greenway network aims to connect neighborhoods, parks, schools, and key town destinations.

How to Access the Map:

The Rolesville Greenway Inventory Map is now available online through the Town of Rolesville’s greenway webpage and will be shared on the town’s social media platforms and NewsBlast.

Why It Matters

For a town that has seen significant growth, the greenway system is more than just a recreational asset. It’s a reflection of Rolesville’s commitment to wellness, sustainability, and smart urban design. The interactive map ensures that these natural resources are easy to find, understand, and enjoy.
