ROLESVILLE, NC- Sunday, September 10, 2023 around 3:08pm The Town of Rolesville police officers responded to several reports of “hate mail” being distributed in the driveways of residences and communities near W. Young Street and Averette Rd.
The vehicle used to distribute the literature stated above was identified with the assistance of security footage from several homes in the area. Rolesville officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle in question. Two individuals were charged with littering after a roadside investigation.
Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman’s office is currently in consultation with The Town of Rolesville about this incident and any additional charges.
Further investigation into this matter is ongoing.
