April 22, 2026 — The Town of Rolesville is alerting residents that scammers are sending phishing emails falsely claiming to be from the “Planning Commission Town of Rolesville,” requesting payment of an invoice.

This is a scam. There is no "Planning Commission Town of Rolesville."
The Town of Rolesville only sends official communications from email addresses ending in @rolesvillenc.gov. All invoices from the Planning Department come through GovWell or noreply@incode.tylerhosting.cloud.
Residents are strongly advised to delete these messages as soon as possible and do not click on any links or provide personal or financial information in response.
How to Protect Yourself
- Be cautious of unsolicited emails or text messages requesting payment or sensitive information
- Verify any Town-related request by contacting the Town through official channels
