NEW Stop Signs
Two (2) new Stop Signs were placed on Virginia Water Drive at the intersection with Genovesa Drive. The signs were installed by and at the expense of Ashton Woods, developer for The Point subdivision that will be developed at the southern terminus of Genovesa Drive in the near future. These signs were a condition of the Board of Commissioners' September 6, 2022 approval of The Point's preliminary subdivision plat for a 96-lot-single family detached subdivision north of US 401.
NEW Speed Limit Signs
Please be aware that on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, within the Chandlers Ridge Subdivision, the Town installed nine (9) speed limit signs throughout the neighborhood, designating the maximum vehicular speed as 25 MPH. Residents and visitors are asked to be alert and attentive to these new signs and to please remember to always drive responsibly and follow posted speed limits for the safety of everyone in the community.
