A seasoned public-sector professional, Chandra has built a career focused on organizational excellence, employee engagement, and strategic workforce management.
Before joining The Town of Rolesville, Chandra served in senior human resources roles within both the Towns of Fuquay-Varina and Wake Forest, where she played a vital role in initiatives regarding talent acquisition, classification, and compensation, employee relations, benefits administration, and organizational compliance. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to align human resources strategy with organizational goals.
Chandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from NC State University. She holds the following certifications: Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional certification and the HRCI: Senior Professional Human Resources certification
When not at work, Chandra enjoys spending time with her family, including her two teenage children. Her love for cooking and baking is only rivaled by her love for enjoying the dynamic restaurant scene in the Raleigh-Durham area! Chandra spends her downtime reading and enjoying a wide variety of podcasts.
She looks forward to supporting the Town of Rolesville's growth and mission while continuing to foster a high-performing, service-oriented work environment where employees feel respected.
As the Town’s Human Resources Director, Chandra will oversee a department responsible for a wide array of HR functions, from personnel policy development and employee training to ensuring the security and accuracy of personnel records.
