WakeMed Health applied to build a freestanding emergency department in Rolesville. It would include an emergency department, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services.
The potential 32,000-square-foot facility would be located at Burlington Mills Road and Walls Cove Land. It is anticipated to cost $53.8 million. If approved, WakeMed expects to open the facility in 2027.
