How do I Apply for a Building permit? who should i contact?
The Town of Rolesville partners with the City of Raleigh Utility Department (for water & sewer) and Wake County Permits and Inspections (for Building Code review, and Inspections of construction). Permit applications and building plans are reviewed by Wake County for building code compliance, paid for, issued, and inspections are requested through the Wake County Permit Portal.
Applications for irrigation, sewer, and water require an additional permit (issued and paid for) through the City of Raleigh Public Utilities Permit Portal.

How do I Apply for a Town Zoning permit? What types of things require a "Zoning permit" ?
The Town utilizes the online platform of GOVWELL - https://app.govwell.com/rolesville - for the processing, tracking, and invoicing and payment of the following specific forms of Town-only Permits:
- Change of tenant permits
- Food truck permits
- Home Occupation permits
- Sign permits
- Temporary- GovWell)
- Temporary use permits- GovWell
