Memorial Mile | May 25, 2026 | 11:00 AM | Rolesville Town Hall
The Town of Rolesville aims to honor the sacrifices of community members and their families who served in the United States Armed Forces. To recognize their service, we have organized a Memorial Day remembrance event known as the Memorial Mile. This event will honor and commemorate the brave men and women who served our country. Additionally, signs will be displayed along South Main Street on Memorial Day.
Join us in honoring and remembering those who served our country. Memorial Signs will be displayed along Main Street, beginning at Town Hall on Memorial Day. Come for a flag ceremony and a walk of remembrance.
Schedule of Events
Location: Rolesville Town Hall (502 Southtown Circle, Rolesville, NC 27571)
10:30 AM - Distribution of pre-ordered t-shirts
11:00 AM - Flag Ceremony with the Rolesville Garden Club and the Rolesville Rural Fire Department. A Walk of Remembrance will begin after the ceremony.
Memorial Mile Shirts
Shirts will be available for this year's Memorial Mile! Each cotton t-shirt will feature the event logo on the front, and the service members' names will be listed on the back. The shirts are $45 each and can be ordered before April 23, 2026.
Memorial Mile Signs
Requesting a sign for a family member or friend who served in the United States Armed Forces is free! Fill out the Memorial Mile Sign Form before April 23, 2026. Your service member will be listed on the Memorial Mile shirt, and a sign will be placed along Main Street on Memorial Day.

Each sign will be a 24x18 double-sided, full-color sign with a yard stake, used for the Town of Rolesville's Memorial Mile event. After the event, signs will be collected, stored, and reused the following year. If you'd like to keep the sign afterward, please contact the Special Events Coordinator.
