The Town of Rolesville will join Optimal Equity Corp. for a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction on a new, state-of-the-art athletic training facility. The event will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 12 p.m., at the former Pine Glo building site, 414 S. Main Street, Rolesville, NC 27571.
Optimal Equity Corp., the project developer, says the plans include an ice hockey rink, courts for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and floor hockey, and a Ninja Warrior training facility. Future tenants include Puckmasters Hockey Training, Wake County Basketball Association, and Rock Solid Warrior. There are plans for an eating establishment as well.
Demolition of the former Pine Glo building began earlier this month. The construction company for this project is Main Street Design Builders.
Optimal Equity Corp bought the four-acre property in 2022. Before that, Pine Glo operated out of the building from 1980 to 2021. Rolesville Garment Company operated out of the building before Pine Glo moved in.
