The Town of Rolesville swore in new and recently elected Commissioners and selected a Mayor Pro Tem at the Board of Commissioners meeting on December 2, 2025.
Newly elected Commissioner Jennifer Bernat and incumbent Commissioners April Sneed and Dan T. Alston are excited to continue working to make the town a better place for residents and visitors.
After the Commissioners were sworn in, Commissioner Dan T. Alston was nominated to serve as Mayor Pro Tem. The Board approved the nomination.
Mayor Ronnie Currin announced his liaison appointments for Board Members.
- April Sneed: Liaison to Rolesville Parks & Recreation Board
- Lenwood Long, Jr.: Liaison to Planning Board
- Jennifer Bernat: Liaison to Public Safety
- Dan T. Alston: Liaison to Veterans Affairs
- Michael Paul: Liaison to Senior Citizens Affairs
Before the swearing-in ceremony, former Commissioner Paul Vilga was recognized for his time served on the board. He served eight years on the Board of Commissioners, as well as acting as the liaison to the Rolesville Parks & Recreation Board. He was given a plaque to honor his time serving the community.
