Invasive plant removal at Main Street Park will be continued starting this Friday, October 13th.
The company will be working on-site in the wooded areas of the park on the following days: October 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 24th, and 30th. When invasive plants are cut down, their stumps will be treated with an herbicide. The applicator may be wearing a Tyvek suit and mask during applications. On October 17th, 19th, and 20th a chipper will be on site on the trails close to Sanford Creek Elementary. Please stay on the walking trails on these days that work is occurring. If the trail is blocked off, please do not try to walk through.
