The terms of six members of the Wake County Historic Preservation Commission (WCHPC) will expire on January 12, 2021. While some or all of the current members may be eligible for reappointment, there is a need for qualified applicants to fill any vacancies. The Board of Commissioners seeks to build an historic commission that draws from a full range of municipalities and unincorporated areas is serves. Members are sought who "shall have demonstrated special interest, experience or education in history, architecture, archaeology" or related fields such as planning, real estate, architectural history, or preservation law.
