The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment and selection of Town employees, position classification and compensation, training and development, employee recognition, personnel policy management, benefits administration, safety and risk management, workers’ compensation, and the employee wellness program.

The overarching role of Human Resources is to provide support for current and future Town employees. That support comes in the form of vigorous recruitment and selection efforts, proactive administration of the pay and classification system, employee-centered personnel policy and benefit administration, progressive staff and organizational development initiatives, and maintaining a preemptive approach to employee safety and wellness.
