Chair Yoga

Description: This class uses one of the gentlest forms of yoga available.  Using gentle stretching, breathing and basic body movements either sitting in a chair, or standing using the stability and security of a chair for support. Strengthen your muscles, improve your balance, learn how to enhance your breathing, and increase your flexibility and mobility through a gentle, supportive yoga practice.  Especially beneficial for those with physical limitations, or who feel uncomfortable or unable to get up and down off the floor.  No mat or special clothing is necessary.  This Yoga is for Every Body - No prior yoga experience needed.  All levels of fitness are welcome!

Uniform: Workout or comfortable clothing, sneakers.

Krav Maga Self-Defense

Description: Get home safe while getting in shape with Krav Maga. In this class you'll learn about situational awareness, verbal scenarios, defending against grabs, chokes, etc. Our classes will teach you to trust your instincts. You'll also learn to manage your fear in a situation. Krav Maga is simple and straight to the point for anyone to learn. Empower yourself and feel great about it with Krav Maga.

Instructor: Quintin Byrd, who founded and opened Carolina Fighting Arts in July 2019, has been training in Krav Maga since November 2009. He has been teaching since 2009, became a certified instructor by Krav Maga Worldwide, and earned his black belt in August 2019. Additionally, Quintin has trained in boxing since 2010. He has taught thousands of students, ranging from college students to entrepreneurs to members of the military and law enforcement. Quintin believes students can get the most out of their training by emphasizing strong fundamentals, attention to details and proper technique, and a disciplined approach and mindset.

Fitness Yoga

Description: This class will use yoga poses to build both strength and flexibility. If you’re looking for a yoga workout that will both challenge your fitness and build lean muscle mass, you’re in the right place! No need to know any Sanskrit or yoga terminology. This is a class for everyone, where you can learn as you go without feeling like you need a vocabulary lesson before getting started. You will be moving from seated to standing throughout class so ability to get up from the floor is helpful. ALL fitness levels are welcome, modifications will always be offered. Bring a yoga mat (limited supply available), water bottle and small towel... yes there is a chance you will sweat! Each 60-minute class will consist of a warm up, workout, and final relaxation. Wear something comfortable that you can move in… it’s not a fashion contest, we’re here for a workout! 

Instructor: Tricia Marconett Scott - Tricia is a town of Rolesville resident with 25+ years in the fitness industry. She is an ACSM certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Her goal is to make you feel successful right where you’re at. Whether you are brand new to exercise or a seasoned veteran you will be welcomed and given modifications to find the level of workout that YOU need! Tricia is a wife and mother to 4 children & a Goldendoodle and IF she HAD any spare time, you would find her at the beach!

Age: 16 and up (or 13-15 with parent/guardian supervision)

Baby & Me Yoga

4-week bundle and single class registration available!

Description: A parent-centered class with plenty of opportunity to interact with baby. This postpartum yoga class is a great way to ease back into exercise while connecting emotionally and physically with your baby while focusing on deep pelvic floor and core strengthening as a return to exercise. Bring a blanket, toy, and feel free to feed and diaper as needed. 

Baby & Me Yoga is focused on pre-walkers, from infants (six weeks) to crawlers up to 18 months old.

Instructor: Stephanie Amekuedi

Age: Parent/guardian and pre-walkers, from infants (six weeks) to crawlers up to 18 months old.
